Meet the Director

Hi, I am Philip Massiah and have a strong connection with Tooting, going back as far as 1968. After attending Ernest Bevin Secondary School in Tooting Bec, I had further education at South Thames College in Wandsworth Town. I left to go to Middlesex University “north of the river” but later came back south and did my surveying qualifications at South Bank University.

My work in this area has included being a surveyor for a social housing provider, before carrying out survey and valuation work in the private sector. I then opened SW17 Surveyors Ltd in 2008, after the infamous “Credit Crunch” decimated the residential property market. This company has run continuously since that time.

I have assembled a team of surveyors who, like me, have come to love being part the Tooting and South London experience. Based at Tooting Works Business Centre, SW17 Surveyors Ltd is part of a vibrant business hub that serves our rich and diverse community and the people of London and the South-East of England.
