Compliant with RICS “Red Book”
A market valuation report from an RCIS Chartered Surveyor such as ourselves has a legal status, unlike those produced by estate agents. SW17 Surveyors undertake “non-lending” market valuations. Non-lending valuations are required for various purposes. Some examples of these are as follows:
- Probate Valuations (for Inheritance Tax purposes)
- Capital Gains Tax Valuations
- Help To Buy Valuations (for Key Workers)
- Shared Owner Valuation for “staircasing” negotiations with Social Housing providers
- Right-to-Buy Valuations (when tenants need to buy their rented property from their Social Landlord)
As registered RICS valuers, our valuations are carried out according to the RICS International Valuation Standard, more commonly known as the ‘Red Book'.
Other types of Valuations we undertake:
Rebuild Valuations (for building insurance purposes)
