Introduction
SW17 Surveyors Ltd (“we”) promises to respect any data you share with us, or that we collect from other organisations. We promise to keep your information safe by constantly monitoring how we collect, store and transfer your data. We aim to always protect your personal data.
Developing a better understanding of our clients’ needs through the data they provide about the subject properties and their concerns allows us to make better decisions, survey more effectively and, ultimately, helps us to deal with our four types of survey work, which are as follows:

Undertaking pre-purchase surveys for buyers of residential property using the RICS suite of survey products, such as Homebuyer and Building Survey Reports;

Valuation of properties for non-lending purposes such as repayments of Help-To-Buy Loans or Share Ownership Staircasing, Right-To-Buy purchases of local authority tenanted properties or for Inheritance Tax (Probate) and for Capital Gains Tax purposes;

Analysis of Defects to occupied properties;

For Party Wall matters, where residential homes are undergoing major works near to or on the boundary line.
From May 2018, in line with the GDPR, we will be moving to be an ‘opt-in only’ communication policy. This means that we will only send marketing communications to those that have explicitly stated that they are happy for us to do so via their preferred channel(s) (email, SMS, phone or post).
